Los Arcos Refugee Outreach
In the summer of 2010, LifeBridge took our Vacation Bible School “into the city”. God opened up the doors to Los Arcos – an apartment complex made up almost entirely of refugees and immigrants from Nepal, Congo, Thailand, Eritrea, Burma and beyond. We soon fell in love with the children there. Many were living in poverty and desperate situations and needed our help.
God did some amazing things that week. LifeBridge was able to provide uniforms and school supplies for all 300+ children that live there. Since that summer, we’ve become involved on a regular basis specifically with the Nepalese community in the complex. This promises to be an area of outreach for LifeBridge that will grow and increase in the months and years to come.
